TSC Texans 90/91 Success at Disney Showcase - "The Proving Ground"
Three TSC Texans (U15, U17 and U18) teams played at the Disney Showcase and the highlight was the U17 TSC Texans who played some of their best soccer.
The U17's beat the Indiana State Champions, New Jersey State Champions, South Carolina State Champions and the Missouri State Champions to Advance to the Finals of the Disney Showcase, one of the best events in the country. They played the New York State Champions in the Final and had the better chances to win the game. At the end of regulation the teams were tied 1-1 and that score stayed the same during overtime. We went into PK’s and New York edged us out scoring all 5 PK’s, we missed 1. It was an outstanding week as many of our players have opened more doors to college programs. The Texas Blue Chip Showcase is next for the U17’s on February 9th and 10th, 2008.
